"Bird of Paradise" 12"x12" acrylic and oils on linen, framed in a gold floater frame.  

I joined The Florida Wave Drum & Bugle corps after High School and toured with them for one year on the flag team.  We had the prettiest uniforms with colors like orange, teal, pink and white.  Those same colors can be found on The Bird of Paradise plant which very common in South Florida.  So this painting is dedicated to my time on the football field looking like a dang houseplant. Good Times!
