"Bubbles Up" 20"x24"

“Bubbles Up”…. 20”x24”. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a Parrot Head because I was only lucky enough to go to 1 Jimmy Buffet concert…. but I’m a huge fan of his music. Right now I am loving the lyrics in his song Bubbles Up:

Bubbles up
They will point you towards home
No matter how deep or how far you roam
They will show you the surface, the plot and the purpose
So, when the journey gets long
Just know that you are loved
There is light up above
And the joy is always enough
Bubbles up.

In this painting… I can’t help but not see the beautiful white horse carrying a sad soul on its back. Hopefully she is headed in the direction towards home where she will be surrounded by love and joy.  Acrylics and mixed media on gallery wrapped canvas, framed in birch wood floating frame.
